Video production and storytelling have been our passion for over 30 combined years. Our drive for creating videos that inspire positive change has been sparked by years of sharing unique and compelling stories about Western New York organizations making a difference for others.
Our Story
Mark's career in video production began in 2002 at a local news station. In his six years as a photojournalist, Mark created and produced stories across Western New York and won numerous National Press Photographers Awards. After joining the Buffalo Sabres in 2008, he was one of the first NHL video content producers traveling with the team to produce video content for the team's website and TV broadcast.

Jason started his career in 2003 at Full Circle Studios creating corporate videos for businesses throughout Western New York.
In 2007, Jason founded Holler Media Productions in order to provide a better option for video production to the WNY business community.
Jason joined the Buffalo Sabres as a video editor and producer in 2011. He began working with Mark, who had just created the popular Beyond Blue and Gold video series, a behind-the-scenes look into the Buffalo Sabres. The series continues today and has evolved to Beyond Blue and Red, focusing on the Buffalo Bills. Combined, the series have over 2 million views on YouTube.
Mark and Jason transitioned to leadership roles at Pegula Sports and Entertainment in 2014.. They lead a creative video team while continuing to shoot and produce video features, commercials and content for the Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Bandits, Rochester Americans, Black River Entertainment, New Era Cap and the University of Buffalo. They have won 10 New York State Emmy Awards together at PSE.

The duo founded Uplifter Video in 2020 to further pursue their passion for creating quality, inspiring content.
